Not the first time I read it, but every time I do I get new connections to modern government as I do with The Republic. This time it jumped out to me how Napoleon used divisive otherism, scapegoats, treating enemies like friend and friends like enemies all for a private plan of personal enrichment andaggrandizement.
I wonder why?
